The Germinator is constructed of Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP). The unit has a ground shield inside. It has an insulation value rated at R5. The FRP, Insulation and the PVC back are fire retardant.

The heat mat is rated for 130 watts at 120 volts. It comes complete with a 12’ cord and cord end. The installation system shown is ideal for starting plants.
