General Layout

Below is the general layout of the heat mats in a room; small and large. The Master Sensor Unit (MSU) heat pad is generally placed close to the controller as the sensor wire is 30' (9m) long. The sensor wire can be extended up to 350' (100m). In larger rooms where two (2) MSU heat mats are used, the Controller averages the temperature of the two mats. 

Note: If the sensor wire has to be extended, the connections MUST be soldered and carefully taped so that the wire do not touch.
